Logan Cycling Club completes three rounds of its Sizzling Summer Series at Berrinba’s Wayne Goss Drive this weekend.
The series has provided all levels of competitive cycling, from junior under 9 level right through to Masters.
The Berrinba Wetlands track is a flat 1.23km course, however the club has been looking at options for a dedicated racing track to enable club riders and other community groups a permanent place to train and race.
The Sizzling Summer Series is the club’s main annual event and includes yellow and green jerseys for race leaders during the competition.
Logan Cycling Club “proudly punches above its weight on the race track and enjoys a friendly and supportive social riding culture”, according to its officials.
The club has quality training, club championships, social events, awards and traditional rides.
It caters to recreational cyclists through to those wanting to compete at a higher level.
