Local police are searching for two men following an armed robbery at Waterford West on Saturday.
Police claim two men entered a store on Bourke Street at around 6.50pm and “threatened the employee, demanding cash and cigarettes”.
“The employee complied and was not physically injured,” poice said in a statement.
The two men stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes and fled the scene on foot.”
“Anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
