The edict issued by Chris Bowen to reduce methane emissions in an effort to reach ‘zero emissions’ has led the CEO of the Santa Claus Academy, Pere Noel, to issue this statement.
“This year reindeers will not pull the Christmas sleigh on its annual global jaunt.
“Instead, a sleigh has been designed to use solar panels that use moonbeams to power the sleigh.
“The use of a backup windmill if cloud covers the moon is envisaged.”
Santa is at present receiving training in a recycled 747 simulator.
A mock-up was seen by a newspaper reader recently.
