The Salvation Army is aiming to raise $3.1 million during its Christmas Appeal for 2022.
They say their aim is to ensure no one is left in need during the festive season.
“Christmas is always the busiest time of the year for The Salvos – but add a turbulent year with drastic increases to the cost of living – and we’re expecting even more individuals and families will need support so that no one is left in need and no child goes without a gift on Christmas Day,” Lieutenant Anthony Hunt, Logan Corps, The Salvation Army, said.
The Salvation Army is calling on the kindness, generosity and giving spirit of the Logan community to help make Christmas a joyful time for everyone.
“If you can afford to lend a hand or make a donation, you’ll be making a huge difference to those who are really struggling,” Lieutenant Hunt said.
