Rotary Browns Plains and Rotary Jimboomba are partnering with Berrinba and Yarrabilba Parkruns on November 30 to raise awareness about domestic and family violence.
Recent data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare highlights the urgency of addressing domestic violence, with 20% of Australians experiencing such violence since the age of 15.
The runs start at 7am and participants are encouraged to wear purple, from hats to shirts, to show support for those affected.
The event will feature free barbecues at the end of the races, with Rotary Jimboomba hosting at Yarrabilba and Rotary Browns Plains, running the barbecue at Berrinba.
