Rochedale South residents will soon have regular weekly access to local police officers at the suburb’s neighbourhood police beat.
Queensland Police said the Rochedale South Neighbourhood Police Beat will open to the public from 8am to noon every Wednesday from 1 July.
The police beat is at 890 Underwood Road, Rochedale South.
Officers will also be available by appointment outside the Wednesday opening hours.
Police said officers from the beat would continue responding to calls for service in the area seven days a week.
The regular opening hours are intended to give residents easier access to speak with police in person and report anti-social behaviour.
