Rochedale South Police Beat Opens to Public Every Wednesday from 1 July

Rochedale South residents will have direct access to local police officers from Wednesday, 1 July, when the Rochedale South Neighbourhood Police Beat opens its doors to the public.

The beat, located at 890 Underwood Road, Rochedale South, will be open every Wednesday from 8.00am until 12.00pm.

Officers will also be available by appointment outside those hours. Police will respond to calls for service in the area seven days a week.

Residents can report anti-social behaviour directly to an officer in person during opening hours. This gives locals a physical location to raise concerns with Queensland Police Service officers.

The beat can also be contacted by email at BeatRochedale@police.qld.gov.au.

Rochedale South is a suburb in the City of Logan’s northern corridor, bordering Brisbane. The area has seen steady residential growth in recent years.

Neighbourhood police beats operate as local police shopfronts. They are separate from major stations and are designed to bring officers closer to the suburbs they serve.

Residents wishing to speak with an officer outside Wednesday hours are encouraged to contact the beat directly to arrange an appointment.

The Rochedale South Neighbourhood Police Beat is postcode 4123.
