City of Logan mayor Darren Power has urged road users to drive safely as state-wide road-fatality figures reach 268 this year alone.
“Serious road crashes devastate lives and take an enormous toll on families and communities,” Cr Power said.
“Whether you are a motorist, motorbike rider, cyclist, pedestrian or just riding a scooter, we all have a responsibility to ensure everyone gets home safely this Christmas.
“Wherever you are spending your holidays, please consider the possible impact of your actions when on our roads this festive season.”
