Rising country music star gets a lesson

Loganholme rising country music star Briana Dinsdale has taken another step forward in her career, accepted into the prestigious CMAA Academy of Country Music.

Ms Dinsdale, who is 18 this month, won a Keith Urban Scholarship earlier this year, and will now attend a 10-day course at Tamworth, from January 4.

The course is the only one of its kind in the world and is an intensive learning experience for students who’s be mentored by the likes of Toy and Jem Cassar-Daley, and former INXS member Andrew Farriss.

Ms Dinsdale released her debut album ‘beginnings’ in January of 2021 which included 12 original songs including co-writes with Bill Chambers and Casey Barnes. 

She was awarded bronze in the ISSA Female Emerging Artist of the Year.
