Two men at the barbers, strangers Bill and Dave
Dave went for a hair cut, Bill to have a shave
 Bill was getting lathered, by Tom’s apprentice John
the boss was clipping Dave and as always woffling on
He thought , “I’ll give these blokes a break and make like i’m Ray Hadley
i’ll ask , What’s on your mind, things can’t go TOO badly”
Dave said “I’ve been wondering how Queensland’s going to go
The Blues have Nathan Cleary, and he’s a fearsome foe”
“Ha” Bill burst out laughing” Queensland is shot
New South Wales will win the series, three games to dot!”
“That’s it’ Dave exploded, hair half off half on
He leapt up from the barbers chair and whacked Bill on the scone
Our mate from NSW was wearing  half a face of foam
but he let flly with a sharp left hook and Tom shrieked ” I’m going home”
And they’re probably still blueing, half shorn Bill and Dave
Me? I think Maroons will win, but it could be..a close shave!
