THE Logan East Community Neighbourhood Centre’s Queen Beez Creative Group will on July 30 celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The group usually meets 10am-1pm at Springwood Community Centre, and costs $4 to join knitting and other forms of textile crafting such as sewing, weaving and crocheting.
But on July 30, from 9.30am-11.30am, there’s a celebration morning tea which will cost $30 per person, raising funds for the programs and services of the neighbourhood centre.
There will be a chance to share morning tea and appreciate the intricate creations of the creative group. There will be raffles, activities, prizes and items for sale. People are being asked to bring their favourite cup, saucer and plate to enter the tea cup competition.
