Private creek the stand out feature of Tamborine property

A creek at the back of Tamborine’s 101- 113 Karen Court is the property’s standout feature, setting it apart from others in the area, Real Vibe Property agent Alison Veivers-Russell said.

“It’s on 6.92ha, and down the back of the property, there’s a lovely creek that the owner has authority to pump fresh water from,” Ms Veivers-Russell said.

She said having a creek on the land was not typical for properties in the area.

The property, built 40 years ago, has four bedrooms and plenty of usable land space, well-suited to families, horse lovers and outdoor people.

“It’s an older property, but has lots of character and is a very strongly built home with double brick,” Ms Veivers-Russell said.

“It’s very spacious too.”

Since the original build, the bathrooms have been renovated and kitchen benchtops replaced, balancing modern convenience with the home’s original style.

Interest ahead of the upcoming auction has largely come from local families rather than investors.

“This one doesn’t really appeal to the investor,” Ms Veivers-Russell said. “It’s more for people looking for a certain lifestyle,” she said.

Ms Veivers-Russell said the size of the block was driving lots of enquiries, particularly from locals.

“There’s plenty of room for lots of outdoor activities, whatever that may be, whether it’s horses, motorbikes, or just to have that extra space,” she said.

About 10 registered bidders are expected on auction day, which will take place on Saturday, 7 March, Ms Veivers-Russell said.

Many of which are expected to be families and all of which are expected to be locals from the surrounding region.
