THE last Beenleigh Show was back in 2019, but it’s back this year on Saturday September 10.
But first, it’s the Pre-Show Ball which is on August 19 from 7pm-11pm in the Beenleigh Show Hall, otherwise known as the Annette and Lionel Mundt Exhibition Pavilion.
The event celebrates not only the return of the show, but also the refurbishment of the pavilion with new lights, fans, ceiling and a coat of new paint.
Revellers at the ball will get the chance to get “Back to the 70s” to the live music of band, The Undecideds.
There will be supper and a licensed bar at the event which is hosted by the Beenleigh Show Society. Admission is $30 and dress is “after five/lounge suit”, albeit sticking to the 70s theme.
