Police have charged a 29-year-old man following a break-and-enter at a Marsden business on Tuesday (20 August).
Police allege officers were called to a convenience store on Browns Plains Road at around 3.30am.
“… where two offenders had used a white Hyundai Tucson to force entry into the business,” a statement said.
“Upon police arrival, the two offenders ran from the scene, and a short time later, police located a 29-year-old Edens Landing man and took him into custody.”
Police said the Hyundai was reported stolen from Crestmead between 15 and 18 August.
The 29-year-old Edens Landing man has been charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, and obstruct police officer.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 11.
A 28-year-old Marsden woman is also assisting police with their investigation.
Investigations are ongoing.
