A sunny welcome to your spring, but people. did you know?
It’s nothing new, I’ve seen them for a million years or so.
The lucky country’s national floral emblem, yes that’s me.
My birthday is September 1, the Golden Wattle tree.
If you need inspiration, take a leaf out of my book.
For my survival, adaptation is the trick I took.
I need the fire that sweeps our land, my seeds to germinate.
And so that I’ll be tall and green, the flood, she is my mate.
Another key? Diversity. Like Logan city fair.
Her multi-cultural riches, enhance the true blue flair.
So let’s all have a drink to celebrate, what’ll it be?
