A third school is set to open in Flagstone, marking the first educational institution in the Greater Flagstone development.
St Bonaventure’s College, a new Catholic school under Brisbane Catholic Education, is now accepting enrolment applications for its 2026 intake.
The College will initially cater to students in Prep, Year 1, 2, 3, and Year 7, with plans to expand to a full Prep to Year 12 institution, accommodating up to 1,800 students upon completion.
Foundation Principal Anthony Elmore said the school aims to create an inclusive learning environment.
“Centred in the Franciscan tradition of compassion and inclusivity, our college warmly welcomes families of all backgrounds,” he said.
“We are committed to fostering a community where every student is embraced with unconditional positive regard and encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally.”
St Bonaventure’s College will feature modern facilities, including early learning classrooms for Prep to Year 3, contemporary learning spaces for Year 7 students, a library, covered sports areas with double basketball courts, and ample parking for families.
Brisbane Catholic Education oversees 146 schools across the Archdiocese of Brisbane, spanning from Hervey Bay in the north to Coolangatta in the south.
The addition of St Bonaventure’s College is expected to support the growing demand for educational facilities in the expanding Flagstone region.
