A MOUNT Warren Park man, 33, died early Thursday morning after his motorbike crashed with a car on the M1 near Shailer Park.
Police say initial investigations indicated the man was filtering through traffic in the northbound lanes towards the city at around 5.47am, when he hit a car and was thrown from his bike into the southbound lanes.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The forensic unit is investigating and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
