Every Friday a group of women catch up for coffee and a chat.
Sometimes they play games, sometimes they do some craft, and other times they go on excursions.
“It’s all about friends,” member Val Gebbet said.
Ms Gebbet is a proud attendee of the group, which has been active for almost 18 years.
“A lot of people want to come along just to have a chat,” she said.
“At the moment we don’t have any men but we’re hoping to soon.”
Ms Gebbet is planning for a few of men to be at the upcoming meeting to hopefully inspire others to come.
She said the group was for meeting new people and providing each other with support, kindness and friendship.
Sometimes catch-ups will feature concerts and special guests, such as a councillor.
This event is hosted every Friday, from 9:30-11:30am, at the Caddies Communities Centre in Jimboomba.
