A MAN, 48, was at the weekend in a stable condition after allegedly being stabbed in the chest by his 54-year-old flatmate at Beenleigh.
Detectives have charged the 54-year-old with attempted murder following the incident.
Police said it will be alleged that around 6.40pm an argument occurred between the two men.
The injured man was taken to hospital.
Charges are set to be heard in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, May 3.
