A man was stabbed yesterday afternoon (18 May) confronting three men who broke into a home at Bahrs Scrub.
Logan detectives believe the break-in occured at 2:15pm.
The 49-year-old man, who does not appear to live in the home, confronted the group.
They began fighting and the Bahrs Scrub man was stabbed in the stomach.
The three men were then picked up by a waiting Ford Ranger – stolen from Algester the day before (17 May) – which drove into the front of the house, causing it damage.
The 49-year-old man was transported to Logan Hospital and is in a stable condition.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Detectives have appealled to anyone with information, relevant CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time, to come forward.
