A passenger, aged 22, has been killed after a single vehicle crash at New Beith Wednesday night.
Police are still investigating the crash which happened around 6.30pm.
Police said three men in their 20s were travelling along Dungaree Drive, heading towards Pub Lane, when the driver lost control of the car.
The car left the road and crashed into a tree.
Emergency services officers attempted to revive the rear passenger, a 22-year-old Jimboomba man, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver, a 23-year old Greenbank man and the front passenger, a 21-year old Springfield Lakes man, sustained minor injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
