A man, 40, has been charged with assault after he allegedly hit another man with his ute.
According to police, at about 1.30pm on 20 April, emergency services were called to Gloxinia Street, Kingston following reports a man had been hit by a vehicle.
“It will be alleged, a 40-year-old Waterford West man attended the address in a white Nissan Navara dual cab ute and struck a 40-year-old Regents Park man,” a police statement read.
The 40-year-old Waterford West man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, unlawful use of a vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs and common assault.
His bail has been refused and he is expected to appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday 23 July, police said.
