A man, 83, who was hospitalised in a Christmas Day road accident at Cedar Grove, has died.
The Tarragindi man was injured in a serious two-vehicle crash.
Police said the crash, at around 4.10pm, involved a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Hilux at the intersection of Bamboo Drive and Mount Lindesay Highway.
Police were appealing for information from witnesses.
The the 83-year-old, who was driving the Camry, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
He died on Boxing Day.
No one else was seriously injured in the crash.
Any witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the crash or the moments leading up to the traffic crash, are urged to contact police.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
