A nine-bedroom, Dubai-style mansion in Logan’s fastest growing suburb is one of the most expensive houses on the market.
Sales agent Nadir Rezai said he was expecting Chambers Flat’s 46 Flesser Road to be picked up for somewhere between $3.2-3.4 million.
He said the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, plus the unique floor plan which sees the house wrap around the outdoor entertaining and pool area in a ‘U’ shape, made the property a rare find.
“The highlight of this property is the size, the architectural design, and it is on top of the hill at Chambers Flat, with magnificent views of the sunset and sunrise,” Mr Rezai said.
“A lot of properties around that area are not as big as this one, especially with the size of the rooms.
“It is a Dubai, middle eastern-style mansion.”
The house features a formal dining room, a 123sqm multipurpose room, a rumpus room, a play room, a dining room, multiple studies, and even more.
Mr Rezai said the 3.88ha property would suit a very large family, or even an overseas buyer.
He said overseas buyers were increasingly looking to purchase in the area.
“Buyers from overseas, plus Melbourne and Sydney, are looking for bigger space for their families,” he said.
“In terms of the price, especially with the high interest in Australia today, a lot of people can’t afford it.
“But a lot of overseas buyers have actually got the money.”
Mr Rezai said the huge amount of development in Chambers Flat, including new shopping centres, new schools and major roads, attracted buyers to the area.
“With the development coming, the population in this area is going to be huge,” he said.
The latest Australian Bureau of Statistics estimates suggests the population of Logan increased by 4.1% between June 2022 and June 2023.
During that time in Chambers Flat / Logan Reserve, the city’s fastest growing area, the population increased by 18%.
According to realestate.com.au, the median house price for a four-bedroom home in Chambers Flat, based on sales over the last year, is $1.1 million.
Between June 2020 and May 2021, the median price was $658,100.
Mr Rezai said he noticed the price point for properties over 2ha in Chambers Flat increase over the last two years, with more properties reaching the multi-million dollar range.
