Dozens of events are being registered to help clean up the City of Logan on Sunday.
There are events in most of the city’s parks, hosted by community groups. They are focusing on rivers, wetlands, forested areas and roadsides in an effort to create a greener city.
The city’s official event is at Gould Adams Park, Kingston Road, Kingston, from 9am to 12pm.

Participants to all events are asked to take a water bottle and a set of garden gloves. Please also wear a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and closed in shoes.
There are expected to be hundreds of people enjoying sausage sizzles, friendship, or just a day out in the sun as they clean up.
“Reduce the amount of single-use face masks, takeaway coffee cups and food packaging littering the environment,” says one of the invitations.
