Local bank spreads cyber awareness

A local bank has continued its war against cyber crime by teaching more than 100 retirement care residents how to more safely manage their technical devices.

Logan Central Bank of Queensland manager Kelly Reed joined her Upper Mount Gravatt counterpart Amanda Watt at Bethany Christian Care where more than 80 residents gathered.

Another group joined a live stream to learn more about current scams and how to protect themselves, family and friends.

With the teamwork from Logan Central and Upper Mount Gravatt, it was wonderful to be able to make an impact in our local community.

The same group visited a Logan retirement community late last year to deliver the same message.
