Let us know if we’ve missed you

IN today’s paper you’ll find that we’ve doubled the number of pages we dedicate to local events.

We often receive feedback from people who’ve connected with a group, found an activity, or just had a good time as a result of something they’ve read in the events pages.

So we’ve responded to that by ensuring we dedicate enough space to the information you, our readers, need most.

At MyCity Logan, we see it as our role to help bring our community together. We do that by allowing you, our readers, to be our eyes and ears on the ground.

Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to compile more than 55 different community events.

We’re able to dedicate the space as a community service because we’re 100% locally-owned and produced. We don’t have syndicated content in our newspaper, which means every bit of it has our Logan audience in mind.

That doesn’t mean we’ve connected with every community group.

Quite the contrary. We know we’re still feeling our way, which is why we need your help.

If you belong to a group that hasn’t been mentioned in the “community events” pages, please email details of all your events to media@mycitylogan.com.au and we’ll be sure to include them.

If you know of a group that hasn’t been included, let us know and we’ll do our best to reach out to them with an offer of inclusion.

Our philosophy is simple – to make sure your community newspaper accessible to everyone within your community (hard copy or digital version), and for us to do our best to keep all sectors of our neighbourhood informed.
