“It’s Time” to celebrate the golden anniversary of Labor leader Gough Whitlam’s 1972 election win.
The win for the ALP followed eight disheartening losses.
Gough had great faith in his party and in the ‘men and women of Australia’, and when we backed him, he did more in three years to give Australians better health care, than the LNP did in their 23 years.
December the second is not only a golden memory for me, but the choice we made that day made Australia a better place for all.
