Inside Corey and Margaux’s Daisy Hill Queenslander

Logan-raised NRL giant Corey Parker and Triple M breakfast host Margaux Parker are selling their Daisy Hill home less than two years after buying it.

But they’re not leaving Logan just yet, with the celebrity couple’s next renovation project expected to be in the city limits.

The Parkers bought 66 Highview Terrace – a 2870sqm block with a five-bedroom, four-bathroom Queenslander – in 2023 for $2.05 million.

After a year and a half of calling the place home, and about the same amount of time renovating, they’re now looking to score between $2.7-2.9 million for it.

The couple says they’re looking for their next project.

“The property when they bought it was absolutely magnificent and timeless, but I would say they’ve brought it into the modern era,” sales agent Nathan Strudwick said.

“They’ve also stayed true to timeless elements of the home at the same time.”

Every room of the house has been modified in one way or the other, both modernising and enhancing its character, Mr Strudwick said.

“You would describe it as a Queensland style home and they’ve kept that wrap around veranda, they’ve kept that homely feel, the detail in the internal fireplaces – they’ve made them the focal point.

“Even the kitchen design, they haven’t gone too modern in a home that requires character.”

The house has something for everyone, whether it’s a bar room Mr Parker uses as a man-cave filled with his League memorabilia – which he has said would come with the home, for the right price – or the best walk-in-wardrobe “on the market”.

“… and probably the best I’ve ever seen in my 13-year career,” Mr Strudwick said.

“So whilst it’s timeless, it’s still very much got those modern day, wish-list items in the home.”

The property backs onto John Paul Forest and Springwood Conservation.

It also boasts two sheds, accommodation for up to six cars and toys, a pool house and an inground swimming pool, two purpose-built BBQ areas, a pizza oven and sandstone fire pit area .

The block has no doubt been home to many parties and gatherings.

“I have been lucky enough to be invited over by the Parkers for one State of Origin game last year, and I felt like I was at Suncorp Stadium,” Mr Strudwick said.

“It was better than being there… I had goosebumps.

“It was an awesome feeling… and the entertaining was just so effortless.”

While the Parkers’ are saying goodbye to their “labour of love”, with the first open home last Friday, the family is ready for their next adventure.

“They’re out there trying to buy something at the moment,” Mr Strudwick said.

“So watch this space is all I can say.”
