Road-safety messages written by Logan schoolchildren have been distributed on takeaway coffee cups as part of Queensland Road Safety Week.
Logan police held their annual road-safety event at Logan Central Plaza on 17 August, joined by organisations including the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator and Australian Road Safety Foundation.
In the lead-up to the week, Logan District Crime Prevention Coordinators visited schools and asked students to write their own safety messages on coffee collars.
Police then distributed the messages at road-safety events across the Logan Police District.
The campaign encouraged motorists to consider speeding, distraction and other risky behaviour each time they get behind the wheel.
