I am irate because the Logan City Council is putting an Urban Bike way right through our very lovely seniors’ retirement village here at Bethania/Waterford, which will be open twenty-four hours a day, letting motor bikes, scooters, runners, push bike riders and God knows what else.
I am irate as I can see the crime rate in this village will go to go sky high, up goes our insurances, both on property and our cars, we pensioners do not get big increases, but the local Government does not care at all.
I am irate because the Queensland Government lost two hundred million dollars and has not provided any explanation where the money went to, so we should have a full inquiry.
I am irate because Queensland Government gave away a five-million-dollar property to a union boss? what is his name, Some sweetheart deal the public don’t need to know about,I have news for her, the Queensland government, it does not own a thing, we the people own it.
I am irate because, Government of the people by the people and for thepeople, the current come Government needs to play the game fairly or lose the next election.
I am irate at the members of the Queensland government by allowing an urban bike way to run through our lovely Retirement Village that has been here since the early eighties.
No common sense prevails, by allowing this urbane bike way they are creating a precedence, who will be safe. Who will be next in hospital or nursing homes.
The land is State owned, but do they need to destroy 800 hundred or more lives for the minority and a plaque with their name on it.?
I am irate as 700 people plus have no say, so the minority wins again bloody hell what next.
