Young Logan residents excited, anxious or curious about their future careers will soon have the opportunity to learn and explore their career options with the return of a career expo.
The IGNITE Youth Careers Expo is returning to the Logan Entertainment Centre, this time with almost 50 exhibitors.
Young locals will hear from a variety of professionals – from universities, training groups and industry associations – and learn about study paths, apprenticeships and job opportunities.
The expo will also feature hands-on learning that covers creative, beauty and cookery zones, enabling attendees to participate in activities like podcasting, coffee making and fashion design.
Local councillor Teresa Lane said the free event was for students and graduates from across Logan.
“Employment pathways are different for everyone which is why IGNITE is fantastic at highlighting the many career and study options available to students and jobseekers,” Cr Lane said.
“I am excited to see the Logan Entertainment Centre brimming with career inspiration later this month.”
