High tech a sign of the times

SOME of the country’s most iconic and recognisable branding has a proud Beenleigh connection – the Westfield sign at Sydney Tower, Suncorp Stadium’s facade and other signage are being created by Signs Etc.

Established in 1987 as a quality signage provider, the business has become an industry leader, providing large structural signs throughout Australia.

Operating from its facility at 12 Horizon Drive in Beenleigh, Signs Etc employs a team of 15 dedicated full-time staff.

Technicians are using the latest technology, including state-of-the-art software through to a cutting edge CNC 3D router, laser technology,
wide format digital print, coupled with Signs Etc’s extensive metal fabrication facility and temperature-controlled paint environment.

“We deliver superior signs on time, to meet and exceed our client’s quality and delivery expectations,” project director Sophie Kay said.

“We specialise in turning dreams into reality by offering signage tailored to suit any application.

“At Signs Etc we proudly call the City of Logan home.”

Signs Etc started out in the inner Brisbane fringe, before moving to Logan in 2016, where managing director Wolfgang Kay tapped into his strong background in steel and aluminium fabrication.

Mr Kay has used a hands-on approach to take the company to a new level, building large structural signs for government, corporate, commercial and retail sectors.

In doing so, they stress that quality is at the forefront of every new sign.

Over the years, they’ve invested in research and development, recently prototyping new non-combustible signage options.

Who can forget the Grenfell disaster in London in 2017, where 72 people tragically lost their lives, and more recently and closer to home in 2019 with the Neo 2000 building fire on Spencer Street in Melbourne?” Ms Kay said.

Companies such as Suncorp Bank, WSP and Commonwealth Bank of Australia have implemented non-combustible technology in recent signage projects.

With both manufacturing and installation capabilities, Signs Etc services the entire East Australian seaboard with a strong focus on looking after the northern Logan, Gold Coast and Brisbane areas.

Signs Etc employs a team of dedicated full-time staff. Their strong training culture means they’ve built up a team of experienced, professional and approachable workers who are able to exceed client expectations.

The company aims to raise the profiles of those it works with, whether it be a total rebranding, pylon structures of sky signs.

Signs Etc offers custom manufactured sky signs, pylons, fabricated lettering, office and reception signage, rebranding, retail shop fronts, illumination, wayfinding, vehicle graphics, CNC routing, digital printing and installation.

Signs Etc looks forward to preserving its highly regarded position in the market and further expanding its offerings to suit the ever-changing landscape of life in 2022. Phone 38076500 or email info@signsetc.com.au.
