CHATTY Cafe is a new Logan initiative to help seniors build new friendships, have a cuppa, chat and connect with their community.
The first Chatty Cafe was held last week, but they’ll now be held every third Wednesday of the month at five of the city’s cafes: Coolabah Cafe and Carvery at Logan Central, How We Roll Cafe at Station Rd, Loganlea, Luv a Coffee at Beenleigh, Social Sphere Cafe at Marsden on Fifth, and The Coffee Club Grand Plaza at Browns Plains.
Volunteers have signed up with Logan City Council to host a table and more volunteers will be sought to help out until the final Chatty Cafe of the year in December.
