Board games, Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer are helping Yarrabilba residents get away from their screens and meet people face-to-face.
The Yarrabilba Gaming Guild holds free gaming sessions at The Buzz community centre, 65 Basalt Drive, 4pm-8pm on Mondays.
Logan City Council reported in May that about 25 people attend the main Monday sessions, with players ranging from students to retirees.
Coordinator Kheva Brok established the group with co-coordinator Tim Bern to provide an inclusive place for residents to socialise around tabletop games.
Mr Brok told the council the guild was intended to provide face-to-face interaction and remain “absolutely free for everyone”.
The group welcomes new players and offers board games, card games, role-playing games and miniature wargaming.
More information about sessions can be found via the Yarrabilba Gaming Guild Facebook.
