Yarrabilba residents can sate their need for caffeine with a free barista-made coffee and a walk in the park as part of a 25-week program encouraging residents to explore local parks.
Stockland’s Coffee in the Park series will visit Mallee Park on Saturday 12 September.
At each event, the first 200 visitors can claim one complimentary coffee between 8.30am and 10.30am.
Google Trends data shows strong search interest in coffee across Queensland every day of the week, with interest surging at 6am.
In comparison, search interest in tea remains constant throughout the day, while search interest for hot chocolate is much lower.

Search interest is measured on a relative scale and does not represent total search volume.
Early figures supplied by Fresh PR & marketing consultant Trudie Abel suggest participation increased across the first two events.
About 40 coffees were served in the first week and 60 in the second, Ms Abel said.
“One useful piece of feedback has been that residents have not always realised the coffees are free, so the signage is being updated to make that clearer at upcoming sessions,” she wrote.
“The aim of the series is to encourage residents to discover Yarrabilba’s 25 parks and extensive green spaces, meet their neighbours and enjoy a relaxed morning within their community.”
The Coffee in the Park series began at Billuberra Park on Saturday 1 August and has since visited Darlington Parklands, Buxton Park, Borrol Lookout Park, Belhaven Park and Neumann Park.
Organisers plan to take the coffee cart to 25 Yarrabilba parks over 25 weeks, giving residents another reason to explore different corners of the growing community.
After Mallee Park, the series moves to Daybreak Park on 19 September and Greenstone Park on 26 September.
Coffee is limited to one per person and event locations and times may be subject to change.
