Four children have been charged after a 14-year-old boy was transported to hospital with serious facial and head injuries on Friday 14 August.
Police will allege the boy was on Juers Street about 9am when he was assaulted by a group of young people, who left the area prior to police and emergency services arriving.
Police charged a Woodridge boy, 11, with eight counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of grievous bodily harm.
Another Woodridge boy, 14, and a Logan Central boy, 17, were each charged with eight counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of grievous bodily harm whilst armed/in company.
A Crestmead boy, 14, has been charged with eight counts of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company and one count each of grievous bodily harm, attempted stealing and wilful damage.
The boys are due to appear at Beenleigh Childrens Court on Monday 24 August.
