Former Broncos player Corey Parker and Triple M presenter Margaux Parker are selling their landmark Cornubia home.
The Parker’s have lived on the 6819m² block with their three children for almost a decade but have decided it is time to move on.
After purchasing the property in 2014, Mr and Mrs Parker tailored the house through extensive renovations.
The Parkers’ told News Corp Australia the home had been “a dream” for both them and their children.
They said the size of the property was what initially attracted them.
“I was pregnant with our third child and wanted acreage – a nice big backyard, a pool, be able to see the kids play, one level, open-plan,” Mrs Parker said.
The home features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fireplace, media room and butler’s pantry.
There is also a man-cave style room in the home stashed full of Mr Parker’s rugby memorabilia.
The outdoor area boasts a fire pit, entertaining and barbeque areas, a swimming pool and a commercial grade gym.
The property contains a huge, grassed area, as well as a tennis court, a spa and a sauna.
Next to the house is a shipping container guest house, which Mrs Parker said looked like a mini version of the main home.
There is also a 12-car-capacity shed fitted with a car hoist.
Although they are sad to leave their home, the Parker’s are hoping to remain close by.
“We never had any idea we’d live in Cornubia, but this is where I grew up,” Mrs Parker told News Corp Australia.
“I went to school down the road, and we’ve built a really good community of friends so we’re hoping to stay in the area.”
Mrs Parker is the co-host of Triple M’s breakfast show The Big Breakfast.
After a successful career with the Brisbane Broncos spanning 15 years, Mr Parker retired from the NRL at the end of 2016 and is now a sideline commentator for Fox League.
