Chung Tian Temple will host three days of festivities celebrating Buddhism founder Siddhartha Gautama’s birthday this Labor Day long weekend.
The largest celebration of Buddha’s birthday in Queensland will begin on Friday 2 May and end on Sunday 4 May.
There will be over 100 events which include cultural performances, activities, and blessings.
The celebrations will run at the Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Buddhist Temple – 1034 Underwood Road, Priestdale – on the following dates:
- Friday 2 May, 9am – 5pm
- Saturday 3 May 9am – 9pm (laser show commencing at 7pm)
- Sunday 4 May 9am – 5pm
