There seem to have been numerous messages from police and other authorities, those on the frontline, who are warning motorists to be careful over holiday periods.
First, it was Easter, then the long weekends.
It shouldn’t matter what time of year it is, people should remember that the roads are shared by all.
I still see hoons around the streets of Logan in their souped up cars, speeding along the streets, often in pairs or more with disregard for others on the same road.
I see motorcyclists zig-zagging dangerously through traffic.
I see people speeding through yellow lights, using two lanes through roundabouts, turning left on red lights, and other traffic offences.
It’s impossible for police to be everywhere, but why do so many people think they’re above the law?
