A 27-year-old man was arrested on Saturday (6 April) over an alleged hit and run at Browns Plains.
Police say a 30-year-old man was struck by a silver 4WD along Browns Plains Road near Coronado Street at around 12.15am on Saturday.
He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition.
Police say the man remains in hospital in a “serious but stable condition”.
That same day police “located and arrested” a 27-year-old Kuraby man in north Brisbane.
“He has been charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and common assault,” a police statement read.
He is expected to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, April 8.
