Logan teenager Daisha Auda has reached The Voice Australia Grand Final, completing a run from four-chair blind audition to the competition’s final stage.
The 15-year-old self-taught singer progressed from Sunday’s semi-final after weeks of performances that pushed her beyond familiar territory.
Daisha said one of the biggest lessons was learning to embrace challenges.
“I always love learning new stuff and taking new information, especially if it’s around music,” she said.
She said the show had also introduced her to artists from across Australia.
“I think everybody is amazing and very talented to be in that position,” Daisha said.
Now, the self-taught teenager from Logan stands one performance away from potentially winning the national competition.
Whatever happens next, Daisha has already come a long way from the teenager who was unsure whether to take the opportunity in the first place.
Her decision then was simple: “I might as well give it a go.”
Now, she is going all the way to the Grand Final.
