Customers come first at new Commonwealth branch

The refurbishment of the Commonwealth Bank Springwood branch has completed, with upgrades set to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Fitzgerald Avenue office has received upgraded technology, such as instant cash and cheque deposit machines, NetBank terminals, free Wi-Fi and video conferencing options to connect customers with specialists who are not in the branch.

Branch manager Wendy Shedden said the upgrades would provide customers with a more interactive banking environment.

“The bank’s investment in Springwood’s new branch is a great example of how we are adapting to the way our customers want to bank with us,” Ms Shedden said.

“We are dedicated to making banking simpler, easier and more accessible by offering the latest technology and an open-plan branch design.

“Our investment in our Springwood branch reflects the importance Commonwealth Bank places on its branch network as one of the many ways customers can interact with us.

“We’ve been meeting customers’ financial needs in Springwood for many years and are pleased we can continue to do so in our new branch.

The banks regional general manager, Kylie Hall, said the bank was “committed to offering our customers the best possible in-branch experience and providing a range of services that better meet their diverse needs”.

“Our branch staff look forward to closely working with the local community to deliver improved and streamlined customer service and help customers on the path towards meeting their financial goals,” Ms Hall said.

The Springwood upgrade is a part of Commonwealth Bank’s broader $60 million commitment to upgrade new and pre-existent branches across the country.
