A Crestmead man, 18, has been charged with burglary and dangerous driving following a police operation in Bundall on the Gold Coast.
Police allege the man, and two others, a Palm Beach boy, 17 and an Acacia Ridge man, 18 were wanted for a number of property offences.
Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) officers said that at 11.10am on 27 February, they stopped a black BMW 3201, which they allege was stolen from a Sophie Avenue property in Broadbeach Waters five days prior.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested at the scene. A further two men, also travelling in the BMW, fled the scene, police allege.
At 12.30pm that day, police were called to Boomerang Crescent, Bundall, after a resident reported that two strangers trespassed into their house.
Police allege the same two men entered another house on Platypus Avenue nearby, as they tried to hide from officers.
Following a comprehensive search effort which included several specialised police units, police said they arrested both men inside the Platypus Avenue property a short time later, without incident.
The Crestmead man is expected to reappear in the Southport Magistrates Court on 26 March.
Police said their investigations were ongoing.
