A man who police allege left the scene of a crash next to the Logan Motorway this week later presented himself to a police station.
Local police are investigating the crash, which they say occured on 20 January on the motorway service road in Loganholme.
“Around 6.15pm, a blue Honda Blackbird motorcycle has struck the rear of a silver Ford sedan on the Logan Motorway eastbound service road near the Drews Road exit,” a police statement read.
The rider, a 42-year-old man, seriously injured his leg and was take to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
“The driver, a 21-year-old man, failed to remain at the scene but subsequently presented himself to a police station,” police said.
“He was not physically injured by the traffic crash.”
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses or anyone who has dashcam vision of the motorcycle or vehicle, including any vision leading up to the or after the crash, to come forward.
