A charity organisation which has been operating for 22 years in the Regents Park area looks like it will have to move premises due to financial strain.
As a result, they’re downsizing. And that means a clearance sale of the truest kind.
Upper Room Ministeries Inc, an organisation which provides free food parcels and financial help to needy people, has been struggling financially during Covid.
As a result, they’re battling to keep up with rent, and they feel the time is near to move out of their current home at 10 Estramina Rd, Regents Park.
“We are a hearing ear for the needy and depressed and can refer them on to other agencies as well,” Cathy Bunn said. “We also provide clothes and furniture for the desperate.”
The mission of the downsizing sale is to sell everything.
“No reasonable offer refused,” says the flyer. “Fill a bag $4.”
There will be furniture, book shelves, TV cabinets, lounge chairs, clothes, shoes, blankets, books, records, CDs, DVDs, linen, tables, chairs, bric-a-brac, toys, prams, pictures, and much more.
The sale is from 8am at the Estramina Rd address, on Saturday April 24. Phone Cathy on 0429 152 642.
