Ceramics studios nationwide are being encouraged this weekend to throw open their doors, and Pottery at 54 Jacaranda Avenue, Boronia Heights will be doing just that.
Christine Pickett says she’ll be opening to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm and she’ll be offering tea and coffee through the day.
She says she’ll also have a limited number of tea bowls for people to decorate. They can be finished and picked up later for a small fee.
There will be some demonstrations of wheel throwing and decorating techniques and a display of Ms Pickett’s work for sale.
