Celebrate environmental stustainability this Sunday (4 June) with the return of The Logan Eco Action Festival (LEAF).
LEAF is the community’s opportunity to celebrate sustainability and learn how to reduce, reuse and recycle to create a more sustainable world and future.
The festival will feature expert guest speakers and workshops, including interactive presentations from the country’s leaders in sustainability, gardening and waste reduction.
There will be eco-exhibitors, plant sales, hands-on workshops, eco-markets and activities for children, as well as markets selling products like bamboo toothbrushes, moon cups, cork yoga mats, hemp insulation, bees wax wraps, solar power, and climate change groups.
There will also be a kids’ zone, a wellness village, naturescape and recyclable furniture and fashion.
Entry, workshops and activities are free.
The festival is from 9am to 3pm at the Griffith University Logan Campus.
