Logan small and medium sized businesses will be able to apply for a rebate of up to 50 per cent, to a maximum of $12,500, after installing energy efficient equipment.
Energy-efficient equipment eligible for the rebate includes consumer appliances – 4-star energy rating or better, fixed speed air compressor with variable speed drive (VSD) unit and VSD for a pump or fan.
A minimum spend of $8,000 (GST inclusive) is required to receive the minimum rebate of $4,000. Applications will open on Thursday 5 October and rebates will only be available for purchases made after that date.
