A 17-year-old boy was last week taken to hospital in a critical condition following a single vehicle traffic crash in Crestmead.
Police said a Toyota Celica lost control early Thursday morning along Browns Plains Road and struck a pole.
The boy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to hospital with critical head injuries.
The driver, 19, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or any motorists with dashcam travelling on Browns Plains Road to contact police.
